Voucherly and payment costs

Accepting meal vouchers with Voucherly adds a single item to the merchant's costs: the Voucherly service cost. The payment method fees and the terms of the agreements with the issuers stay as they are today.

This cost model applies to the Voucherly Buoni Pasto eCommerce service. It does not apply to Voucherly Orchestration Platform or to the other Voucherly services.

What stays the same​

  • The fees of every payment method, from cards to PayPal to the other active methods, charged by the gateways the merchant already uses.
  • The economic terms of the agreement with each issuer, which remains a direct relationship between merchant and issuer.

What is added​

  • The Voucherly service cost, a monthly subscription set according to volumes.
  • The subscription covers the connection with the issuers and the features Voucherly provides: the Dashboard with the reporting of payments, the customer care tools, the Wallet for customers' prepaid credit and the other features of the platform.

Who charges what​

  • The payment gateways charge the fees on cards, PayPal and the other methods, as today.
  • The issuer applies the fee set in the agreement and reimburses the merchant for the value of the vouchers.
  • Voucherly invoices the monthly subscription to the merchant, with automatic debit.
